Are my files uploaded?

No. The file is opened and changed inside your browser, on your phone or computer. Nothing is sent to our servers.

Can I get the parts as tabs instead of files?

Yes. Choose "Tabs in one file".

Is the formatting kept?

Values, formulas, dates and sheet names are kept. Colours, borders, merged-cell styles and charts may not carry over, because the file is rebuilt in your browser.

Is it safe?

Yes. Split Excel works inside your browser. Your files are not uploaded anywhere, so nobody else can see them, and there are no waiting queues.
