50 KB is the usual upper limit for passport-size photos on exam and recruitment forms, and for photos on many scholarship and government portals.

How to resize image to 50 kb

1. Add your photo or signature above (JPG or PNG).
2. The maximum is already set to 50 KB. Type a width and height too if your form asks for them.
3. Click Resize images. Each JPG is 50 KB or less, ready to upload.

Questions

How do I make a photo exactly 50 KB?

Add your image, check that the maximum is 50 KB, and download. The tool lowers the quality step by step until the JPG is under 50 KB, and keeps it above the minimum if your form has one.

Can I also set the width and height in pixels?

Yes. Type the width and height your form asks for, for example 200 × 230 pixels, and the photo is cropped to fill that size. For exam forms, the Exam photo kit already knows each exam's sizes.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. It is resized inside your browser, so it never leaves your phone or computer.
